Accor ALL Cobranded Visa Breakfast & F&B Credit

Accor and BNP Paribas announced last year that they would launch co-branded Visa credit cards first in France in early 2021 and later in other markets in Europe.

The coronavirus delayed the launch that happened this past summer. Accor and BNP Paribas introduced three cards with variable fees and benefits, and one of the card features was not disclosed at the launch.

When I was checking offer updates on Accor’s website earlier today, I came across previously undisclosed breakfast and F&B credit benefits that these ALL/BNP cardholders have.

Visa Explorer and Ultimate cardholders are eligible for:

– 50 USD/EUR F&B credit

– upgrade to a higher category rooms

– late check out until 3 PM if available

Accor lists Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, 21c Museum Hotel, MGallery, Swissôtel, Mövenpick, and Pullman brands.

+ exclusively for Ultimate cardholders:

– Free breakfast for two

The complimentary breakfast for two is available at Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, and SO/ brands.

Note that the cheapest ALL – Visa Pulse is excluded from these offers

These benefits are not available in all hotels “NB: French Franchise hotels do not participate.” The eligible stays must be booked using the ALL VISA rate plan and be a minimum of TWO nights.

But the T&Cs (PDF) state:

The breakfast and hotel credit are not available on ALL rates, but specific ones available only for co-branded credit cardholders.

The rate should come up automatically for eligible cardholders when they book when logged in.

Conclusion

It is amusing that Accor ALL Visa F&B credit and complimentary breakfast for two are not available in the market (France) where the cards are issued.

You also need to consult the list of participating properties (see the PDF below) to see if they participate in both offers. There can be changes in participation in the future.

You need to calculate if you are eligible for this rate if it makes sense to book it instead of the lowest promotional one available.
