Hilton offers a very competing team member discount travel program (all hospitality sector companies tend to) and something for Friends & Family of employees as well. There have been some program adjustments for 2022.
Hilton calls the employee discounts “Go Hilton Team Member” and the rates are really low when available, Friends & Family “Go Hilton Family Friends Rate” and “Go Hilton Extra FFTP.”
You can access Hilton’s GO website here and pages explaining the program here and here.

Hilton Go Employee And Friends & Family Rate Plan Changes For 2022
Some adjustments were made to the program for the duration of the pandemic when hotels could entirely close the sale of the Go Hilton rate plan, and Hilton would not take adverse action.
Now, the program returns to the projected availability. If the projected occupancy reaches 90%, the rate plan is closed for further sales.
The Go Hilton should be available at all Hilton-affiliated hotels globally by February. It should be reactivated at hotels that closed it temporarily due to Covid-19.
The Friends & Family discount used to be 50%, but now it is 35% to 50% off the Best Flexible Rate. Hilton reviews this during the first quarter and may put it back to 50%.
There will be fewer EXTRA rates available that don’t count towards the yearly limit of 30 employee and 70 Friends & Family nights.
Conclusion
I have used Hilton and Marriott Friends & Family programs a few times in the past year, as I have friends working for both companies.
The GO HILTON FAMILY FRIENDS RATE and GO HILTON EXTRA FFTP tend to be better than those of Marriott and are more widely available now.
There has been a change in availability this year (much better), and I’ll probably use it a couple of high-end resorts next month, where it yields significant savings (I probably wouldn’t stay at them otherwise).
If you have friends working at hospitality sector companies, it doesn’t hurt to ask if they have an F&F program available and whether they could extend an invitation for you. Both Hilton and Marriott programs are eligible for elite benefits, earnings points and nights/stays.
