When we published a piece about extended award availability at the Conrad Bora Bora last week (read more here – availability gone by now), a reader asked how to pull up the availability screen, which we featured in the article.
Hilton hasn’t made it easy to pull up the month-long availability using points or cash, likely on purpose. However, it comes especially handy when searching for award availability, such as five-night stretches that would allow the use of fifth-night free redemption.

Here’s how you pull up the rate & award calendar:
Of course, you need to choose an individual property first.
Then click the Use Points & Money.
Then you need to click the Edit Stay.
You must then click one of the stay dates that opens a pop-up
You then must choose “Shop By Price.”
And the month along award availability calendar opens up. This is for Waldorf Asteria Maldives.
You can usually check the availability for up to 12 months in advance, and this second one is for Hilton Northolme in Seychelles.
Conclusion
This feature comes in handy, albeit very well hidden on the website, when you want to stay at a specific highly sought-after property, and their availability is spotty.
Not sure why Hilton doesn’t predominantly promote this feature? Is extremely useful. It only takes a minute or so to see the hotel’s award availability for the next 12 months.
