I still feel that dividing Radisson Rewards into two programs due to the Chinese government ownership of the company rather than carving Mainland China into a separate program was a huge mistake.

By participating in the “2022 Radisson Rewards Americas Elite Status Jumpstart Offer” (“Promotion”), you acknowledge, and you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Elite Nights/Stays Thresholds for Elite Status:
With the Promotion, members will earn a jumpstart to Elite Status, granting all Radisson Rewards Americas members double stays/nights towards achieving or maintaining Elite status for eligible stays during the Promotion Period at hotels in the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Elite Status thresholds are as follows:
– To achieve Platinum elite status, member must complete at least 60 Eligible Nights or 30 Eligible Stays in one calendar year
– To achieve Gold elite status, member must complete at least 30 Eligible Nights or 20 Eligible Stays in one calendar year
– To achieve Silver elite status, member must complete least 9 Eligible Nights or 6 Eligible Stays in one calendar year“Eligible Stay(s)” means one or more consecutive Eligible Nights at the same hotel, regardless of the number of check-ins or check-outs that occur during that stay. “Eligible Nights” means a night at a Radisson Hotel Group Americas property that is booked at an Eligible Rate, identified in the hotel’s reservation system as eligible for points, an Award Night redemption stay, or a Points + Cash redemption stay. Stays booked using an ineligible booking source such as an Online Travel Agent (sometimes referred to as “OTA”), as well as and free stays (e-Certs), are NOT eligible. Once you qualify for Elite Status, you will maintain that status for the remainder of the then-current calendar year and through the following Program year, which runs from March 1 to February 28/29. Elite status will be granted when points are awarded for the final Eligible Stay required to achieve each Elite Status.
