Radisson Rewards Buy Points Up To 50% Bonus Through October 10, 2023

Radisson Rewards has a new offer to buy points at up to a 50% bonus through October 10, 2023.

The issue is that Radisson Rewards has moved to entirely dynamic awards, and even if you buy their points at a 50% bonus, they are still less than half worth towards a reservation.

Bonus is dependent on the number of purchase points:

• 1,000 to 4,000 points: 0% bonus points
• 5,000 to 14,000 points: 20% bonus points
• 15,000 to 29,000 points: 30% bonus points
• 30,000 to 49,000 points: 40% bonus points
• 50,000 to 250,000 points: 50% bonus points

Price:

You can buy up to 375,000 Radisson Rewards points with a bonus for $1,475. The price of a point is 0.39 US cents each (a fraction of a cent).

Dynamic Awards

There are only dynamic awards with Radisson Rewards. You offset the paid rates with the number of points you have.

I only have 2,000 points in my account, and they are worth 135.14 THB towards a stay that is $3.67. The worth of a Radisson Rewards point is 0.18 cents each (less than one-fifth of a cent).

Conclusion

Radisson Rewards essentially sells points at more than double the price of what they are worth when you use them.

If you buy the 375,000 points, you are essentially handing a $750 stipend to China’s Communist Party, which owns Radisson through Jin Jiang.
