Hyatt has launched a new Explorist and Globalist fast track offer for Bilt Rewards members who sign up and link their accounts by April 1, 2023.
The offer comes with a trial Explorist status for April 17 – July 16, 2023, that you can extend through February 2025 by consuming 10 qualifying nights or upgraded to Globalist by having 20 eligible nights.

Signing up for Bilt Rewards doesn’t require being a US citizen or permanent resident. You only need a US phone number to receive a text message with a code to complete the signup.
Also, you do NOT need to sign up for the Bilt Mastercard to qualify for this offer. Remember to uncheck the box during the signup process that is automatically selected.
How To Sign Up:
1. Make sure you’re on the latest version of the Bilt app.
2. If you haven’t already, join World of Hyatt.
3. Link your Bilt Rewards and World of Hyatt accounts in the Bilt app under the “Travel” tab, or at the button below.
4. Between March 28th through April 1st, choose “Unlock World of Hyatt Trial Status” below.
5. Receive confirmation by April 17th of your trial World of Hyatt Explorist status, and enjoy through July 16th. All stays checking in April 17th or after, and checking out July 16th or before, will count towards your qualifying nights.
6. If you complete enough qualifying nights, enjoy Explorist (10 nights) or Globalist (20 nights) status through February 28th, 2025.
World of Hyatt Elite Benefits Matrix:
The main benefits of the Globalist status are breakfast and/or club lounge access, confirmed 4 PM check out (few exceptions), and upgrades to select standard suites when available.
You must consume NIGHTS to be eligible for milestone rewards, including suite upgrade certificates, free night awards and bonus points, and a concierge service.
Conclusion
There are few fast track offers throughout the year, but they are often targeted at business travelers or those who have linked their World of Hyatt account with American Airlines.
This Bilt Rewards offer is quite rare, as it is practically open to everyone with access to a US phone number. The signup window is concise (only until April 1), and you then have 90 days to complete the challenge from April 17.
There is always some noise about how these offers worsen the program for current members.
I don’t think that is much of an effect because properties upgrade their frequent guests over Globalist lites, and many sign up and complete the challenge but move on to the next program. Also, several Hyatt benefits are only achievable by putting nights into the program (milestone rewards).

Upon registration, World of Hyatt members will receive a trial upgrade to Explorist status through July 16, 2023. The trial will provide the member with the benefits of Explorist status, as set forth in the World of Hyatt program terms, provided that the member will not receive any Explorist Club Lounge Access Awards (as defined in the World of Hyatt program terms) or be eligible to tier match into MGM Rewards, the loyalty program of MGM Resorts International, as part of the trial. To maintain Explorist status through February 2025, member must complete at least ten (10) Tier-Qualifying Nights (as defined in the World of Hyatt program terms) at any participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, participating MGM Rewards destinations, Small Luxury Hotels of the World (“SLH”) properties, or Lindblad Expeditions on stays started and completed during the Explorist Trial Period. If member completes at least twenty (20) Tier-Qualifying Nights at any participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, participating MGM Rewards destinations, SLH hotels, or Lindblad Expeditions on stays started and completed during Explorist Trial Period, member will receive Globalist status through February 2025.
